Positive IT Solutions was are a small consultancy providing bespoke software for clients of all sizes. We specialised in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft development products on all the Microsoft platforms. We had specialized in development, on systems ranging from small desktop applications through to global multi-tier projects for large corporate clients.

Our main expertise was in implementing solutions using Microsoft technologies from Azure through to C# and Visual Basic. Predominantly this was within a multi-tier, client-server environment and we were involved in a number of large projects where these technologies have been the key components of the system.

The projects have been for clients in a variety of sectors including  financial (banking and insurance), logistics communications and retail areas. We have provided a range of services for these clients, from basic assistance with design and implementation, consultancy on a variety of areas through to development of full systems in Microsoft C#, Visual Basic, C++ and Java.

Our varying range of clients have given us a great deal of experience in developing against a number of large database systems which include Teradata, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and IBM AS/400 and many more. We have been involved in the integration of a number of legacy systems with newer database technologies including linking legacy databases to web-based output.
